Notes from Wellsboro

Description

Notes from Wellsboro is a three movement work for concert band.  The piece came together as a result of students in a middle school music class learning about writing music.  Students shared their “compositions” with the composer, and several were selected to form the themes of the three movements.  Clever and accessible, Notes from Wellsboro is a Grade 2-3 piece that lets you see into the mind of some middle schoolers in the beautiful town of Wellsboro, Pa.  Come visit through this music!
