Tag! You’re It!

Description

Tag! You’re It! is an energetic and playful piece for band reminiscent of warm summer nights in a neighborhood where children gather to play.  A grade 3-3.5 work, the piece begins in C major and moves seamlessly to the relative minor where the game evolves into kids shouting. “Tag! No Tag Backs!”. Following this, the work moves into F major where a stately and calm section emerges, reflective of the breaks taken to catch your breath, drink some water or lemonade before being called back to the game and the main theme is restated.  Every one will enjoy this reflective and fun concert piece!
