Tenebrae (Dark Hours)

Description

This powerful work for wind ensemble is the result of a tragic school event where a young child took his own life.  The work is not a story of the victim of the tragedy, but rather how one family – the composer’s – dealt with explaining the loss of life through faith and love, ultimately ending in triumph.  Grade 6;  heavy percussion requirements.
